About us

Wantirna South Football Club was established through the commitment of a group of locals, who brought to fruition their vision of a club for members of the local community to play Australian Rules football. Walker Reserve on Tyner Road Wantirna South was purchased and the seeds of our club were sown.

We currently have 4 senior teams (season 2025),  comprising senior men’s, senior women and U19’s, which compete in Division 2 and Division 4 (women) of the Eastern Football Netball League. 

We have a strong affiliation with the Wantirna South Junior Football Club (Visit here), which provides a pathway for our junior footballers to progress to senior football.

Like most football clubs we have passionate supporters, tireless volunteers and a passion to support young people playing football in a embracing community.
