The club thanks U19 coach Paul Riley who has joined the General committee for 2019.  His input and leadership will be invaluable.

The Club also welcomes Koray Barkut to the General committee.  A former player who has always remained a strong clubman by contributing to help the club in many ways. His leadership and passion for the club is a great asset for all Devils.

A Senior Womans football team at the Devils?

At the Junior Devils (Wantirna South Junior FC), there are an enthusiastic group of young girls playing footy and many more have come along to try outs in recent times.  They are led and organised by volunteers who are outstanding in their passion for footy and the girls playing the game there.

We always aim to be a Senior footy club for all players from the Junior club to aspire to play for. Currently we don’t have a senior Women’s football team, and don’t have anything to offer current female footballers.

Keeping the community together today and in the future is important to the  club.  Therefore, we intend to plan & prepare at providing  this opportunity to female footballers too.  The benefits of adding more opportunities to play football and be a part of a strong community affects everyone in a positive way.

Devils U19 coach Paul Riley to continue in 2019

The Devils are pleased to announce Paul Riley will continue as the U19 coach for season 2019.  It will be Paul’s 3rd season as U19 coach at the Devils.

Paul’s main objective is to transition players from junior footy and prepare them to be senior players of the future.  His leadership style ensures the players enjoy their footy together whilst challenging them to become team players.

Most of the 2019 squad will be in their second year of U19’s together which should see further improvement after playing some very good footy at times in 2018.

The Devils future stars are in good hands with Paul Riley in charge.
